Having represented Egypt at both U-20 and senior level, the "Sultan" glutted on club success with Inter FC in Ireland, winning it all. Two Irish championships and an Irish Cup later, Abed-Sulaiman took up a new challenge, Singapore's S-League. Seen as a safe, sure upgrade to the callow Clair Harlow.

Not the most popular of characters in the dressing room and a known control freak, Abed-Sulaiman nevertheless garners respect from all teammates on the pitch for his utter dedication to the cause.
